Dr. Mohamed El-Khasht explained that Cairo University has completed the development project of Abul-Rish Hospitals for Al-Mounira and Japanese Children, and many units have been renovated in them, including the neonatal and premature care unit, the hematology unit, the pediatric liver disease unit, the 12-bed kidney transplant unit, and the dialysis unit. Al-Khasht added that other development projects are being implemented in the hospital, including surgical care, an intensive care unit with a capacity of 14 beds, a hematology and marrow transplantation unit with a capacity of 19 beds, a public accommodation unit with a capacity of 31 beds, and gastroenteritis emergency, and 80% of the work has been completed.
